Fortnite adds LeBron James and his signature shoes

Just when you thought Fortnite couldn’t add any more superstars, Epic Games decides to add one of basketball’s largest icons, LeBron “The King” James.  LeBron is joining the item shop for the newest season of the hit battle royale in two days on July 14, along with his upcoming shoe: the Nike LeBron 19.

The King Has Arrived: LeBron James Joins Fortnite’s Icon Series

Fortnite has recently become more well-known for its character inclusions than its actual battle royale gameplay. Through its icon series of skins, the battle royale juggernaut has added real-life gaming, music, movie, and sports stars. These skins include Ninja, Travis Scott, Major Lazer, and now LeBron.

James will come with three variations of his new shoes, as well as many different outfits and bling that show off his title of King. Players can also grab new costumes that coincide with his upcoming film, Space Jam: A New Legacy.

One outfit included in LeBron’s icon pack is focused on his pre-game persona, placing him in a collared shirt with a hoodie and blazer on as outerwear. The other pulls him right out of Space Jam featuring his new Tune Squad jersey. There’s also a Taco Tuesday variant pack, complete with a taco shirt and matching backpack. Each costume features optional sunglasses.

LeBron James will be making his way from the court to your copy of Fortnite in two days on July 14.

This stylish Metroidvania is 2025’s first true game of the year contender
A hero squares off against a monster in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist.

If I was forced to choose my favorite type of game, I’d likely go with the Metroidvania. When done well, there’s little in gaming that I find as satisfying. Whether delivered in 2D or 3D, my favorite games in the genre hook me with freeform exploration that rewards my curiosity with well-hidden secrets. That love comes with some high standards, though. I have a very defined idea of what makes a great Metroidvania. I can be picky about games that don’t fully conform to those rules if they aren’t bending them in a meaningful way. But when a game hits all the right notes, there’s nothing better.

Only one month into the new year, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist has already delivered exactly what I crave. It’s a fantastic sequel that understands what makes the best Metroidvanias tick, all while threading in its own distinct voice and RPG systems. If you’re still impatiently counting the days until Hollow Knight: Silksong’s mysterious release date, consider popping into one of the best Metroidvanias I’ve played this decade.

All confirmed wrestlers in WWE 2K25
The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, raises their fingers to the sky in WWE 2K25.

One of the biggest draws to any WWE game is getting to embody your favorite wrestler in their prime. WWE 2K25 is taking the entire wrestling genre to new levels with some of the most ambitious modes and features we've seen in the franchise. We know we will be able to face off in all the traditional modes, but now there will be an open world to explore with various quests and optional challenges. As cool as these modes sound, it wouldn't make much difference if your childhood favorite wasn't playable. 2K has already claimed that WWE 2K25 will feature the "biggest roster ever" but not everyone can be included. Not every wrestler has been revealed, and a few are locked behind preorders and DLC, but this is the most accurate list to date of which wrestlers will be in WWE 2K25 when it launches in March.
Every confirmed wrestler in WWE 2K25

As of the time of this writing, there are 69 characters confirmed to be in the base WWE 2K25 game, although 5 are relegated to preorder bonuses. With many iconic personalities missing from this list, we are sure this won't be the final roster. Here is everyone we know for sure will be in the game.

I don’t like extraction shooters. Exoborne might be the one to win me over
Key art for Exoborne.

Exoborne accomplished something very difficult: it made me enjoy an extraction shooter.

Extraction shooters are an emerging category spearheaded by developers looking for the next big thing after battle royales. Teams of players explore large open-world-like maps looking for loot, but they can potentially lose everything if an enemy or other player kills them before they can extract them. While I've seen the potential of this kind of shooter in games like Hunt: Showdown and Delta Force: Hawk Ops, I've found they feel too hardcore, taking the fun out of the run-and-gun nature of shooter that I usually resonate with the most.
