How to buy all of the iPhone 13 models

Looking for Apple’s latest iPhones? Then you are absolutely in the right place. Apple’s newest roster of iPhones is available, and consists of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and super-sized iPhone 13 Pro Max. Apple has made this year’s iPhone model a real upgrade from previous years, and it shows. The Apple-made A15 Bionic processor powers each of the new iPhones, from the massive iPhone 13 Pro Max, to the tiny iPhone 13 Mini. Battery capacity has also been upgraded, and for the first time, we’re seeing iPhones with storage capacities of 1TB.

But enough of the specs, you already knew Apple’s new devices were going to be some of the most impressive we saw this year. How do you actually get your hands on one? The iPhone 13 range is now fully available, having been through its pre-order phase. Here’s how you can buy any of the iPhone 13 models right now, and the deals you can expect from each carrier.

Apple is, unsurprisingly, the first place you should check for your purchase. Don’t expect very many deals though — these are the latest Apple devices, and discounts are likely to be thin on the ground for a while. Instead,  check out specific carriers to see whether you can get trade-in bonuses or bill credits.

Apple iPhone 13 and 13 Mini deals

The cheapest iPhone 13 models are likely to be some of the most popular, and with prices starting from just $699, it’s easy to see why. Trading in an eligible smartphone can also knock up to $790 off your purchase as well.

Apple iPhone 13 Mini with 128GB of storage $699, or $29.12/month for 24 months.

Apple iPhone 13 Mini with 256GB of storage — $799, or $33.29/month for 24 months.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max deals

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max with 1TB of storage — $1,599, or $66.62/month for 24 months.

Buying from AT&T

AT&T is offering some very strong deals on the cheaper iPhones, with up to $1,000 off with eligible trade-ins. That’s a free iPhone 13 Mini or iPhone 13 Pro with 128GB of storage, or an iPhone 13 Pro Max for just $99.

You may also notice that AT&T’s monthly prices are lower than Apple’s. That’s because AT&T is offering all the new iPhones on a three-year contract, rather than a two-year contract. So that’s a lower monthly cost for your iPhone, but you’ll be paying for longer than someone who bought on a monthly plan from Apple. Still, these more bite-sized chunks make it a bit easier to buy one of the more expensive iPhones.

Buying from T-Mobile

T-Mobile is offering up to $500 off any iPhone 13 when trading in an eligible device. Or, if you’re buying for more than one person, you can buy-one-get-one-free on the iPhone 13 or iPhone 12 range with 30 monthly bill credits. Both of these deals are available on any T-Mobile plan.

But that’s not T-Mobile’s new headline plan. That’s the Forever Upgrade plan, which aims to give you a new iPhone every two or more years, with $800 off your new device every single time you upgrade. So buy an iPhone 13 now, and you’ll get $800 off your upgrade to the new iPhone in 2023.

T-Mobile’s prices fall between Apple’s and AT&T’s by offering a middle ground — 30-month contracts! It’s a bit of an odd place to draw the line (why two-and-a-half years?), but it does mean more consumer choice, which is always a plus.

Things still aren’t looking good for Apple’s iOS 19 update
iPhone 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium.

The latest version of iOS 18.2 rolled out to (most) iPhone users yesterday, and it brought with it a slew of new features that fans have eagerly waited for. These include Visual Intelligence for iPhone 16, Genmoji, and Image Playground. However, this slower rollout of iOS 18 features is having an impact on development times for its next iteration, and that means iOS 19 might be delayed.

There have been whispers of delays before, so this doesn't come as a huge surprise — particularly when you think about how the production flow at Apple usually goes. In a Threads post, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said: "I continue to hear that the gradual rollout of features across iOS 18 to iOS 18.4 is leading to delays of some features scheduled for iOS 19. That will lead to a long-term rollout of features next cycle as well. Engineers are stuck working on iOS 18 projects when they’d usually already be on to the following OS."

RCS messaging is now live in iOS 18.2 for Boost Mobile subscribers
RCS messaging on iOS 18.

This week, Apple released iOS 18.2. Though the update is mostly being advertised for its new Apple Intelligence features, it also includes another feature long promised for certain U.S. iPhone users.

With the iOS 18.2 update, Boost Mobile customers using iPhones can now use RCS (Rich Communication Services) as an alternative to SMS and MMS. A Reddit user (via Android Authority) was the first to discover the change. Apple teased RCS support last year before making an official announcement at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.

This may be our first look at the iPhone 17 Pro’s massive redesign
Back of the iPhone 16 Pro next to the Pixel 9 Pro

The iPhone 17 has been the subject of quite a few leaks so far, but we might have just gotten our first look at its redesign. Spoiler alert: it's a big one. If this design is accurate, then Apple has completely shifted the way it positions cameras on the back of devices by opting for a horizontal side-by-side placement that makes the iPhone 17 look a lot like a Pixel device.

The suggested appearance was first leaked on Weibo, then noticed and shared on X by known tipster Jukanlosreve. The post shows what looks to be a frame, said to be part of the iPhone 17 supply chain. According to the Weibo post, the bar places the ultrawide angle lens in the middle to make room for the "front structured light." We assume this means FaceID. The post has been translated from Chinese to English, so a few details were lost in translation.
