Everything leaving Netflix in July 2023

All good things must come to an end, and that includes some of your favorite movies and TV shows on streaming services. Netflix is not immune to losing content, even if it more than makes up for it with originals like FUBAR or The Diplomat.

In July 2023, Netflix will be losing series like Moesha and Married at First Sight. In addition, the popular action film franchise Ip Man, the excellent James Bond movie Skyfall, and the Meryl Streep dramas Julie & Julia and August: Osage County will be leaving the popular streaming service next month. Find out if one of your favorites is leaving Netflix in July so you can watch it before it disappears.

Everything leaving Hulu in January 2025
Anamaria Vartolomei in Happening.

In 2024, there were a few months when Hulu barely lost any movies or TV shows at all. And while many departures are coming up throughout January 2025, the vast majority of subscribers probably won't miss them at all. Among the departures is Assassins, a low-budget sci-fi film that has Bruce Willis in it, but it would be inaccurate to say that he starred in it during his direct-to-video phase.

Most of the films leaving are made-for-TV Christmas movies that will probably get trotted out again in 11 months. Aside from a few French dramas like Happening, there's really not much to speak of in this lineup unless you want to watch a documentary about the Pharma Bro. So, we'll just call it a win for Hulu subscribers, because it means that many of your favorites are staying put for at least another month.

Everything leaving Netflix in January 2025
The cast of Monk stand together.

The year may change, but some things remain the same in the streaming-verse. The cycle of TV shows and movies that come and go will remain constant, even for Netflix. Throughout January 2025, Netflix will be saying goodbye to a number of fan-favorite films and series, a few of which were Netflix originals.

Most of the departing movies — including The Babadook, White House Down, Zero Dark Thirty, and We're the Millers — are leaving near the end of the month. So you'll have more than enough time to catch them. However, only dedicated binge-watchers will be able to stream every episode of Monk, The Magicians, and New Amsterdam before they depart. Those popular shows are bound to appear on other streaming services, but if you've been meaning to watch them on Netflix, the clock is ticking.

What’s new on Netflix and what’s leaving in January 2025
Gabriel Basso in The Night Agent.

The first month of the year can set the tone for everything that comes after. If the new titles in January are any indication of what's to come, Netflix is starting 2025 off with a bang. On the very first day of the month, Netflix will add Interstellar, Inception, the Rush Hour trilogy, the original Spider-Man trilogy, and more. Two days later, the classic characters Wallace and Gromit are back in a new animated film, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.

On January 6, WWE Raw comes to Netflix with a stacked episode of main event-worthy matches. Later in the month, The Night Agent returns for its second season, as does XO, Kitty. And as part of Netflix's deal with AMC, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live will be arriving as well.
