We gave this Sony Bravia TV a 4 out of 5 — it’s $250 off today

We love it when there’s a great TV promo on a holdover from a previous year’s lineup, especially when it’s from a brand like Sony. We’re alluding to the incredible Sony Bravia XR X90L 4K LED, an excellent midrange set that brings great picture quality and a host of smart features to the table. And for a limited time, when you purchase the Sony 65-inch X90L at Best Buy, Amazon, Crutchfield, and a handful of other retailers, you’ll only pay $950.

That $250 you just saved could quickly go toward one of the best soundbar deals of the week (it’s just a suggestion). We also tested the X90L not too long ago and editor at large Caleb Denison said, “The Sony X90L is a surprising treat of a TV.”

Why you should buy the Sony X90L Series

The Sony X90L is a fantastic all-purpose 4K TV that is designed to perform well in just about any room you want to place it in. Thanks to its strong SDR brightness levels, the TV is able to overcome sunlight and other ambient illumination and delivers incredible peak brightness when watching or playing HDR content (the TV supports every format except HDR10+). Expect rich, lifelike colors and the type of black levels more commonly seen with entry-level OLED TVs.

Thanks to HDMI 2.1 connectivity on ports 3 and 4, the TV’s native 120Hz refresh rate, and VRR and ALLM support, the Sony X90L is a great TV for console and PC gaming. Fast response time and low input lag also bode well for sports fans and action movie fanatics. Speaking of which, the X90L uses Google TV OS for all things Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. There’s even a boatload of free live TV stations you can stream!

We’re not sure how long this X90L sale will hold out, but that $250 discount could be gone tomorrow. Oh, and before you depart, we suggest taking a look at our lists of the best Sony TV deals and best TV deals for even more markdowns on top AV devices.
