The Aorus RTX 4090 Master is the biggest GPU we’ve ever seen

Gigabyte’s Aorus RTX 4090 Master is the biggest GPU we’ve ever seen. We don’t yet know the full specs of this GeForce RTX 4090 model, but we do know we’re going to need a very large case to house this beast.

This is a monster unit. It needs four slots all to itself on a motherboard. It comes with three 11 cm fans. It is 35.8 cm (14.1 inches) long and 16.2 cm (6.4 inches) wide, meaning we could literally stack several smaller RTX cards inside of it and still have some room to spare. Videocardz.com did the math and determined they could fit 10 Radeon RX 6400 cards inside.

This huge GPU should be enough to house the GeForce RTX 4090, which Nvidia announced on September 20. These are the newest graphics cards featuring Ada Lovelace architecture, offer better ray tracing, significantly improved rendering, and DLSS 3. It comes with up to 24GB of GDDR6X memory.

Nvidia is promising 2.5GHz of clock speed on the 4090 while gulping 450W of power. The RTX 4090 doesn’t come out until October 12, so we’ll need to wait to put it through real-world use, but we can expect impressive performance thanks to double the number of CUDA cores.

But we are drooling at the thought of one of those high-end maxed out RTX 4090s inside this enormous Aorus Master unit. The power draw must be impressive and we’re not looking forward to the electric bill (nor the incredibly high prices), but maybe here is something that will finally catapult gaming into the next era. After all, this is still a GPU waiting for a game worthy of its power.

Nvidia’s RTX 5080 may be better than the RTX 5090 in one small way

The launch of Nvidia's next-gen best graphics cards is right around the corner, and we're getting new leaks about the specs almost every day. Today, Benchlife reveals that the RTX 5080 may be the only RTX 50-series GPU to receive 30Gbps memory modules from the get-go. This would give the RTX 5080 a slight advantage, but there's also some conflicting information about the memory configuration for this GPU.

All of Nvidia's next-gen graphics cards are said to use new GDDR7 memory, and yesterday's Zotac leak confirmed that the RTX 5090 will sport 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM. That's a massive upgrade over the previous generation, but the RTX 5080 won't enjoy the same improvements -- the GPU is said to retain both the 16GB memory and the 256-bit bus we've already seen in the RTX 4080 (and its Super version).

We're nearing the announcement of Nvidia's upcoming RTX 50-series, which will most likely be revealed during CES 2025 in January. Despite the fact that it's less than a month away, we haven't seen any leaked benchmarks of the cards, so their performance remains an enigma. However, a leaker with a lengthy track record now sheds some light on what we can expect from each GPU, and that includes an up to 70% performance boost for Nvidia's best graphics card.

The leaker in question is OneRaichu on X (Twitter), who hasn't shared many new leaks recently, but has had some good insights in the past. As always with any type of leak, treat the following with caution -- it won't be long before we know with certainty what to expect from these upcoming GPUs.

It's true that we're all waiting for the release of Nvidia's best graphics cards, but ... not like this. The RTX 5090 made a surprise appearance in a GPU server made by Comino, a company that deals with data center design and construction. Although still unannounced by Nvidia, the GPU can now be preordered directly from the manufacturer, but not by itself -- and at a whopping price of around $5,000 per GPU.

Just to clarify: No, Nvidia's RTX 50-series is still not here, and as of yet, Nvidia hasn't even confirmed that there will be an RTX 5090 at all. However, Comino opened up preorders for its next-gen Grando Server equipped with either six or eight RTX 5090 GPUs. This is worrying news for gamers because the RTX 5090 was always meant to be a consumer card. Still, the reality is that the RTX 4090 remained in high demand throughout its tenure because of its AI capabilities, and the RTX 5090 is only going to be even better in that regard.
