There are many games being released and different kinds of accessories being introduced for the Nintendo Switch, but you and your wallet will be able to keep up thanks to the offers that remain from Amazon’s annual shopping event. If you see something you like, you should buy it right away, as the offer may suddenly disappear. Don’t forget to look outside of Amazon, too. The Walmart Days for Deals sale is going strong today.

If you’re looking for accessories that you can use while playing the Nintendo Switch, you should also take a look at Prime Day gaming headset deals, so you can fully enjoy the sounds of Nintendo Switch games even while you’re on the go, plus Prime Day gaming chair deals, so you’ll be comfortable while trying to take down boss fights and complete missions.

Once you’re done shopping from the remaining Prime Day Nintendo Switch sales, you might want to check out the Prime Day gaming deals that are still available to invest in other consoles. There’s no shortage of Prime Day PS4 deals and Prime Day Xbox One deals, as Amazon tries to unload its inventory of these consoles with the launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. If you want to enjoy the exclusives on these platforms, now’s a good time to buy, as they’re still worthy additions to any gaming room.

Best Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals still available

You don’t need to pay full price for the Nintendo Switch with Amazon’s remaining Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals, so if you want to buy the console as a gift for your loved one or for yourself, you still have a chance. The Nintendo Switch is a valuable gaming companion because it’s a versatile device that works well both when you’re playing at home or during your commute. There’s also a wide variety of games that are available for the platform across different genres, so whether you want to embark on a grand RPG quest, unfold the story of a single-player adventure, smash opponents in fighting games, figure out the solution in puzzlers, or aim to be the last player standing in battle royale titles, the Nintendo Switch has a game for you. You can play offline or compete with other players online, but whichever mode you find yourself playing, you might also want to buy certain accessories that will improve your experience.

The Nintendo Switch isn’t as expensive as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but if you’re on a budget, you’re going to want to take advantage of every discount possible. Prime Day Nintendo Switch sales will make sure that you get a good price for the console, as well as for the games and accessories that you’ll buy for it. It might be a daunting task to look through all the possible deals involving the console though, especially if you don’t know where to start. To help you with your purchase of the Nintendo Switch, we’ve gathered the best offers that are still available this Prime Day. You should hurry though, as there’s no telling how long stocks of the console will last, given its popularity among the gaming community across all ages.

Should you buy a new Nintendo Switch from last-minute Prime Day sales?

You should grab any opportunity to buy the Nintendo Switch if you don’t own it yet, and now’s a good time even with Prime Day over because you still have the chance to enjoy savings, not just on the console but also on games and accessories. In addition to purchasing the Nintendo Switch, you’ll need accessories such as a carrying case and screen protector to make sure that it’s safe from accidental damage. There are also different kinds of controllers that are available for the console, and it’s up to you to find out which ones fit into your playing habits.

If you buy a new Nintendo Switch now, you’ll be able to enjoy the growing library of Nintendo Switch exclusives, which includes overly adorable Animal Crossing: New Horizons, co-op fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimatewhimsical open-world adventure Super Mario Odyssey, creative level designer Super Mario Maker 2, and arguably the best entry in its long-running franchise so far, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You need to finish these games as soon as you can, as there are many more console exclusives in the pipeline, such as Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, No More Heroes III, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. These are all in addition to the free-to-play games that are available for the Nintendo Switch, such as battle royale games Fortnite and Apex Legends.

It’s going to stretch your budget a lot if you buy all of these in one go, but with the Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals on Amazon, you can start your collection with the console, a healthy number of games, and several accessories that will protect and maximize the Nintendo Switch. You’ll be set for years to come, so you have time to finish all of the platform’s best games, as well as all the titles that are on the way.

How to choose a Nintendo Switch after Prime Day

There are only two models of Nintendo’s latest console, namely the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. The original Nintendo Switch may be played as a handheld device or as a tabletop console when placed in its dock, with the output connected to your TV. The Joy-Cons, or the Nintendo Switch’s controllers, may be detached at any time. Meanwhile, the cheaper Nintendo Switch Lite is a purely handheld console, and its buttons are fixed into the device instead of coming with removable Joy-Cons.

If you want to enjoy Nintendo Switch games on your TV, and the functions that are enabled by the removable Joy-Cons, you should go for the original Nintendo Switch. However, if you’re on a budget, and are mostly planning to play while on the go, then the Nintendo Switch Lite might be enough for you. Be warned though that while most Nintendo Switch games are compatible with the Nintendo Switch Lite, there are a handful of games and certain features in a few titles that don’t work with it. For example, the Just Dance games, which use the Joy-Cons to detect your movements, can’t be played on the Nintendo Switch Lite, and in Super Mario Odyssey, you lose the ability to flick Mario’s hat using the Joy-Cons motion controls. Additionally, the Nintendo Labo kits, which utilize the Joy-Cons for the different creations that you can make, won’t function well with the fixed controllers of the Nintendo Switch Lite.

You may come across special designs for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite, which are usually bundled with the game where the design is based. These are great if you’re a fan of the game, but you shouldn’t spend so much time tracking down these consoles because their difference from the original versions of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite are purely aesthetic.
