The Name Your Game Bundle, priced at $350, includes an Xbox One console, a 500GB hard drive, and the buyer’s choice of one of four featured games: Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition or Rare Replay. Bundled titles are available as full-version downloads via Xbox Live.
Also premiering this month is the Xbox One Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Bundle, a $400 package that includes a 1TB Xbox One console and a copy of Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege. The package additionally bundles the Xbox 360 versions of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2, which are playable on the Xbox One via a recently introduced backward compatibility update.
Rainbow Six Siege, released in December, is the latest entry in Ubisoft’s long-running shooter series driven by tactical squad-based combat. Unlike previous games in the series, Rainbow Six Siege does not feature a single-player campaign, and instead focuses entirely on its online competitive multiplayer component.
Microsoft’s Name Your Game Bundle, meanwhile, promotes many of the Xbox One’s most notable exclusives released within the past year. Forza Motorsport 6, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Rare Replay are all published by Microsoft and are thus exclusive to the Xbox One, while an exclusivity agreement ensures that Square Enix’s Rise of the Tomb Raider will not launch for another console until December.
Square Enix recently confirmed that a PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will debut by the end of the month.
The Xbox One Name Your Game Bundle will be available in Australia, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand and the U.K. starting on January 12th. A North American launch is slated for late January. A release date for the Xbox One Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Bundle is not yet known.
