While the PlayStation 5 is a great step forward from the PS4 on a technical level, there's one disappointing change from the PS4 to PS5: the removal of folders. This handy feature lets you create your own custom section on your home screen where you could organize your games however you wish.

After a firmware update, the PS5 has now added Gamelists, which are similar to folders, but not quite as useful. Still, if you want to tidy up your best PS5 games for easy browsing, here's how to make folders on your PS5.

How to make folders on PS5

After booting up your PS5 and ensuring you have the latest firmware installed, you can get started making folders.

Step 1: Sign in to your home screen and go into your Game Library.

Step 3: Either select the Create Gamelist icon on the left, or choose a game, press Options > Add to Gamelist > Create Gamelist.

Step 4: Go through your library and select all the games you want to add to this specific folder.

Step 5: Once all the games are selected, hit Add to create the new folder.

Step 6: Enter this folder's name, and it will be added to the Your Collection tab.

The main drawback to Gamelists compared to PS4 folders is that they cannot be placed on your home screen, and are only accessible in the Game Library. You are also limited to a maximum of 15 folders. While not ideal, it is still a welcome way to organize your games.

The best hero shooters on PS5
A team of heroes in Marvel Rivals.

The hero shooter genre has been around for years but really started hitting its stride in the latest console generation. A lot of the best PS5 games are still narrative-focused games, but more and more of the best FPS games are starting to crack that list, with hero shooters being especially popular. These games give more personality and depth to your normal run-and-gun experience with unique characters that have their own movesets that add new layers to the gameplay. This makes it so games are determined by more than just who has the best aim and reflexes. Thanks to most of them being cross-platform games, hero shooters are easy to jump into and find matches with, but first, you need to find the right one for you. Here are the current best hero shooters you can play on PS5.

There are also a ton of upcoming PS5 games that could be the next big hero shooter phenomenon.

Sony offered with Raylo to establish the program. Currently, there are five different options to choose from. The PlayStation 5 Digital is the least expensive option, starting at just 10.99 GBP per month on a 36-month lease. The price goes up as the lease term goes down, and there's a lease-free option that's 21.95 GBP each month but can be cancelled anytime.
