How to play Fortnite on iPhone and iPad

Epic Games

Despite being one of the best games of all time, and previously being one of the best iPhone games, no iPhone version of Fortnite is available in the U.S. due to legal woes between Epic and Apple. While it remains a great multiplayer game on PC and console, a huge number of players primarily learned how to win in Fortnite first via their phone. Thankfully Fortnite is a cross-platform game so you can link your account and carry your progress over to another system, but that doesn't solve the problem completely. You don't have to abandon your buddies on the battle bus for another game, though, because there are a few workarounds to get you playing Fortnite on your iPhone.

Play Fortnite on an iPhone using GeForce Now

The last streaming service you can rely on to get Fortnite going on your iPhone is Nvidia's GeForce Now. Unlike Luna, this service allows you to stream a free-to-play game like Fortnite without subscribing to its service but does limit you to one hour at a time. If you plan on doing a marathon run of games, you will need to upgrade to the Premium subscription.

Step 1: Go to the Fortnite page on GeForce Now.

Step 2: Log in to your free or paid Nvida account.

Step 3: Hit Play and you will be launched into the game.

The best places to land in Fortnite (Chapter 6, Season 1)
Fortnite Chapter 6 key art

Survival is key in Fortnite, and it all starts by picking the best starting location. Even if you're a looper who's been around for each and every season, your likelihood of grabbing that coveted Victory Royale can be gone in a snap if you start off on the wrong foot -- whether it be on a mountain with no loot or a hot drop that could send you back to the lobby in no time.

As part of Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1, a new Japanese-themed island has arrived with new points of interest (POIs) that change the game significantly. However, with these spots, which one is best comes down to your skill and preference. With that in mind, here are the best places to land in Fortnite for the OG sweats, beginners, and everyone in between.
The best places to land in Fortnite
Before jumping into the list, you must understand the basics of what makes a good landing spot. Sure, any location with decent loot and lots of chests might serve you well, but there's more to that.
