Major League Gaming is reporting staggering growth numbers for its video streaming platform, MLG.tv. Since its launch in late-November 2013, the platform has seen an increase in viewership of 1376-percent, the company confirms.

The increase marks a 60-percent growth month-over-month throughout Q1 2014. Viewer engagement is also remarkably high, with visitors watching an average of 157 minutes per visit. The site primarily focuses on streaming eSports gaming events and gaming sessions from pros, along with its own shows analyzing the world of eSports. The platform is currently looking at options for creating new, original content, as well as considering ways to lure in more top eSports talent to broadcast on the network.

MLG.tv can be found online via a browser, or through an Android and iOS app. It recently made its debut on the Xbox 360 as well.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s abruptly delayed Season 2 is still happening

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's second season was delayed just two days before launch, but now it's on its way. Developer Rocksteady announced many of the details for the big additions in a blog post on Wednesday, including how its new character, Mrs. Freeze, will work in-game when Season 2 arrives July 25.

Season 2 centers around Mrs. Freeze -- aka Victoria Fries. She's the daughter of the original Mr. Freeze, although this is an Elseworld variant like the Joker in Season 1. In the post, Rocksteady describes her as somebody stranded on a dying world," unwilling to leave her cryogenically frozen wife behind. But after being recruited by the Squad, she may have the chance to save her -- and unleash icy hell."

If you ever wanted to try out the early 2024 flop Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but didn't want to spend any money on it, your chance is coming soon. Starting on Prime Day (July 16-17), you can claim the DC game for free -- but you only have 48 hours.

Starting at 3 a.m. ET, Prime subscribers can claim an Epic Games Store code for the game, which pits Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot against Brainiac, who has brainwashed members of the Justice League to do his bidding. Honor of Kings isn’t exactly a new game. In fact, it’s the largest mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, with more than 200 million registered players. And it's finally coming to a global audience after years of being limited to a select few countries.

At Summer Game Fest, I tried out the tutorial and a bot game with one of the characters. Based on that taste, Honor of Kings seems to deliver what it promises: a concise, streamlined MOBA game that ends within 15 to 20 minutes, and features enough variety so that the matches don't feel repetitive.
