Remember when the US still believed in the world order the US set up following WWII? Remember when the US still supported NATO and Article 5? Remember when the US made lots of mouth noises towards supporting democracy and "free trade" and stopping wars of aggression? Those days are in the past, given what the current administration has done, is doing, and will do in the near future. It seems remarkably naive to think other nations, allies or not, have missed this transition and believe the US will go back to being a reliable, non-empire-seeking, dictator-opposing partner. So, sadly no, I don't think America dominating space is in everyone's interest anymore.
That's some fine SVR or CCP talking points. I'd love to borrow that crystal ball of yours. Unless, it is as I suspect, a window to Ruski Mir or Pooh world. This is plain BS to think the US is the worse option here.

Which is it? You want us to stop policing the world or you want us to effectively run it? Been asking for years now. Or is that just when it is convenient for you and aligning with your values?

Remind me who was all riled up about Eastern Europe militarizing? So angry about the colossal US weapon stockpiles? Constantly ragging on us for the past few decades? Telling us to leave Ukraine to them? Isnt the crux of Ukraine over the EU membership? Yet somehow our decisions are the deciding factors of the war? What did Europe send in those crucial first days? What sense does that make to you? Europe has never had autocratic tendencies? Fascinating... Why is the response just a bunch of lip service in response to "evil bad man" (and quietly recommitting to military obligations and doing as requested) if it is all so evil and bad?

You want to talk about dictatorships? Ha. Very funny. We will see how well the fire and insults works out for you. You Eurocentrics want to go it alone?

Do it.

Else, ally, shut up and help end this fk'ing war on your doorstep by pen or sword. We are on the same team. You have the power to demand Putin gtfo too if Ukraine is so important to you. Or are we channeling that Chamberlain energy over there again? Again, letting us take responsibility for everything while you all wait for a politically convenient moment? (Oh yeah buddy, you better look at the EU military support and subtract the trade you have with Russia. Speaking of lip flapping...)

We sure as hell will come fight on your land against the hordes again, we are not remotely as bad as we were in the early 20th. But we sure as f*** don't expect any help from you with our own issues so long as we refuse to "bend the knee". Not after the reaction to simply stating the same thing we have for decades...
