What could be better than a sunny Saturday in downtown Los Angeles? How about a sunny Saturday in downtown L.A. surrounded by the brightest minds and hippest tastemakers in media today? You’ll find all that and more at Outpost Los Angeles, a cultural festival that will be running from noon to midnight on June 1, and we are excited to be giving away five VIP badges for the event, which grant entry along with a special bag of goodies.

Taking place in the gorgeous Rolling Greens, located in L.A.’s Arts District, Outpost Los Angeles will sport a number of fascinating panels on varying topics, featuring luminaries from diverse fields and perspectives. Panel topics include the state of music in Los Angeles, effectively making an impact on society, and why experiences are better than things. The cavalcade of guests includes filmmakers, environmentalists, musicians (including Tom Krell of R&B act How to Dress Well), and ambassadors for a number of exciting companies.

Beyond the expert panels, Outpost will also offer attendees a variety of workshops and experiences, including the art of mezcal, the principles of making kombucha, a gourmet s’mores workshop, wine-centric happy hour, van life experience, and even instruction on how to make pipes out of everyday, non-pipe objects.

If a bellyful of s’mores and wine leaves you unwilling or able to sit down for another panel, Outpost will also feature some exciting musical performances to get your toes tapping. Musical guests include synth-pop act Porches, the eerie electronic vibes of Negative Gemini, the enigmatic ambient music of Ana Roxanne, and for those looking to tear up the dancefloor, a DJ set by Neon Indian.

Suffice it to say, Outpost Los Angeles will be a day to remember, full of creative people and unique experiences in a lush environment. It will also be Outpost’s largest event yet, so don’t miss it!

You can enter to win a VIP badge by dropping your info into the box below. Note that winner will pick up their badges at the event, and travel and lodgings are not included in this giveaway, so if you don’t live in the L.A. area, you will need to arrange those on your own.

DT Giveaway: Enter now to win an HP Envy 32 4K all-in-one desktop PC
HP Envy 32 all-in-one PC giveaway

HP offers a huge range of great computers, but in today’s laptop age, its desktop PCs, unfortunately, don’t get as much attention. And even among desktops, the sleek all-in-one doesn’t always get the love it deserves, but the HP Envy 32-a0035 is a shining example of what these machines are capable of now. If your desk could use a new computer, then step up and roll the dice: We’ve teamed up with HP to give one of our readers a chance to bring home one of these HP Envy 32 4K all-in-one PCs. Read on to find out more about this awesome setup and how you can win it.

The basic idea behind the all-in-one PC is simple: Ditch the bulky desktop computer tower and integrate the hardware into the display housing. This sounds simple, but obviously presents some design challenges, and it’s safe to say that modern hardware advancements (ironically driven by the ubiquity and popularity of laptops) is what made modern all-in-one computers like the HP Envy 32 possible in the first place. Combine that design with the included mouse and keyboard, and you’re pretty much ready to rock right out of the box.

Roborock H6 Cordless Stick Vacuum 01

Roborock is known best for its full line of powerful robotic vacuum cleaners, but the company recently debuted its first cordless stick vacuum for the U.S., the Roborock H6 Adapt. Robot vacuums are convenient and capable, but they're limited to cleaning floors. Cordless stick vacuums are the most versatile vacuums you can buy, and Roborock's initial entry into this market is a winner. You can be a winner, too, because we're giving readers a chance to win a new Roborock H6 Adapt cordless stick vacuum, a $450 value, with no purchase necessary. Read further to learn more about this powerful stick vac and how you can enter the contest and be the lucky winner.

There is a lot to say about the Roborock H6 Adapt, but let's start with the high points. The H6 has three modes (Eco, Normal, and Max) to balance suction strength and battery life. Powered by a 420-watt brushless motor, the H6 can employ 150 AW (air watts) of suction power to pull dust, dirt, and debris from carpeting and all types of hard flooring. In Eco mode, the H6 runs for up to 90 minutes per battery charge and up to 10 minutes in Max mode. You don't have to make the power changes yourself because the Roborock's Auto Carpet Boost detects the need for and switches to higher power modes as needed.
