How to choose headphones on Prime Day

There’s a reason why brands like Sony, Sennheiser, Apple, and Bose dominate everyone’s lists for the best headphones — their products never disappoint. If you’re going to choose from among the Prime Big Deal Days headphone deals that you come across, make sure that you go for one made by a trusted brand. They may be more expensive than headphones made by lesser-known manufacturers, but we assure you they’ll be worth it.

With all of the combinations of features found in headphones these days, you should buy a pair that come with the features that are most important for you. If you want to block external sound during your daily commute, you should have active noise cancellation, and if you’re always on the go, long battery life is a must. Water resistance is crucial if you’re planning to work out while wearing your headphones, and a comfortable fit would be preferred if you’re thinking about wearing the headphones for long periods of time.

How we chose these headphone Prime Day deals

We narrowed down the massive number of Prime Big Deal Days headphone deals into our list of recommendations above by following one simple rule — we want you to take advantage of offers that are worth buying. Whether that means getting new headphones for an unbelievably low price, or a premium model with a large percentage of savings, the offers on this page are meant to make you feel like a winner after the shopping event ends.

Prime Big Deal Days are happening everywhere, not just on Amazon, and we’re keeping track of where you can get certain headphones for their cheapest price. We’ll update this page whenever we find better offers, so you may want to leave a bookmark so that you can check for the lowest prices over the course of the shopping event.

"Noise cancellation and spatial audio have a new king, and it is the Bose QuietComfort Ultra," we said in our review of the wireless headphones. Sitting on top of our list of the best noise-canceling headphones as our top overall choice (and also appearing in our general best headphones ranking), the Bose QuietComfort Ultra features best-in-class noise canceling, which isn't really a surprise as it's Bose that pioneered the development of active noise cancellation technology.
