Our favorite smart notebook is $70 off right now

Taking notes on the go can be a bit inconvenient on a phone, and carrying around a stack of paper with you in the form of a notebook can get heavy pretty quickly. Luckily, e-ink screens are a great alternative, and if you’re already familiar with the Kindle line of products, like the Paperwhite and Oasis, then you’ll very much love the Scribe. Not only can it be used as an e-reader, but you can use it to take notes as well, which is a great feature on an already solid device. While it usually goes for $340, you can get the version with the basic pen and 16GB of storage for $270 directly from Amazon, while the premium pen version is going for $295 instead of $370, both of which are excellent deals.

Why you should buy the Amazon Kindle Scribe

One thing that you’ll appreciate about the Amazon Kindle Scribe, regardless of whether you want it for e-reading or note-taking, is the larger 10.2-inch screen. That means you can fit a lot more text on there, requiring less taping to go to the next page when reading and a more comfortable note-taking experience. It has 300 pixels per inch, so it’s still a sharp and excellent resolution for a bigger screen, and it even has the same backlighting you’d find in other Kindle devices, which you won’t find in something like the reMarkable 2.

That said, it does lack some of the integrations that reMarkable 2 has, such as Dropbox or Google Drive, although you can send documents to an email, which is still a handy feature. The Kindle Scribe can also connect with both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so you can use it to go online as well as listen to audiobooks through a connected pair of headphones. As for note-taking, you get a lot of various templates, from sheet music to ruled pages, so there’s a lot of variety, although not as much as the reMarkable 2. Also, the basic pen doesn’t come with an erase tip, whereas the premium pen does, so it might be worth the extra $25 to go for that feature.

There’s a reason that the Amazon Kindle Scribe is the best smart notebook, and we think it’s well worth grabbing for the discounted price of $270 from Amazon, which is almost a steal at that price.

The Kindle Paperwhite just got a rare discount for Presidents’ Day
An Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2024 on a table.

Amazon rolled out several Kindle deals for Presidents' Day, including this gem: the ad-supported Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2024 at 16% off, bringing it down to a more affordable $135 from the e-reader's original price of $160. The $25 in savings may not look like much, but you still wouldn't want to miss it because a discount for this device rarely happens. The offer will only be available for a limited time though, with stocks possibly running out even before the holiday arrives, so hurry with your purchase if you want to take advantage of this bargain.

Why you should buy the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2024
The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2024 received an impressive 4.5 stars out of 5 stars in our review, catapulting it to the top of our list of the best Kindles. The first thing that you'll notice about the e-reader is its sharp and high-contrast e-ink screen that makes reading extremely comfortable to the eyes, especially since it also has glare-free properties. The 7-inch display also has adjustable warmth that you can customize depending on the time of day, and since the device is ultra-thin and waterproof, you can bring it with you wherever you go.

The latest Apple iPad mini is down to its lowest ever price
Front view of Apple iPad mini with A17 Pro.

For great iPad deals, Amazon is generally an excellent place to head. That’s certainly the case today, as it has reduced the price of the latest Apple iPad mini to its lowest ever level. The tablet was only released a matter of months ago and usually costs $649. Right now though, it’s down to $549 for a limited time and it has never gone that low before. This is easily one of the tablet deals you should pay attention to as it’s a great device at an equally great price. If you still need to know more, read on while we tell you all about it. It’s the iPad I’m tempted to upgrade to.

Why you should buy the Apple iPad mini
The form factor of the Apple iPad mini is one of its main selling points in a world where many of the best tablets are increasingly large and potentially cumbersome. With this Apple iPad mini, you get a sleek and fairly lightweight build with its 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display looking gorgeous. Much of that is thanks to its use of technologies like P3 wide color, True Tone, and ultralow reflectivity, so it looks great. It’s perfect for watching movies, playing games, or whatever else you have planned.
