Yeah my family's cottage was on Bitter Lake 15 miles from Haliburton got it about 1958/59 sold it in 2009.
The border will probably stay closed until 2022/23.
The governments are dragging their feet with who they vaccinate & getting the wrong brand.

 

I’ve canoed a lot of the lakes and rivers around there, a little south of bitter lake but from the Georgian Bay to Peterborough and beyond.

My mom made the best butter tarts, my sister’s came close, but not the same.

 

I think my fave are coconut ones, when I really think about it.

 

Yeah but, I enjoyed those tarts throughout my childhood, and many visits over the many years before she could no longer bake them. She’s been gone 46 years, the memory of those tarts has aged well in my mind.
