Is resolution over 1080p overkill in a 10.1-inch tablet? Yea, probably. But don’t tell that to the swarm who gathered around the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, which offers 1,920 x 1,200 resolution. While you won’t nice the difference from afar — or probably even in these photos — the Infinity has an incredible pixel density that gives it that “print” look, like photos in a magazine. That will be especially useful for heavy browsing and reading, where text looks razor sharp even down to tiny sizes. The ability to play 1080p content without scaling should be a boon too, although the models on display didn’t demonstrate it.
