The X Power 2 will be released in May, and sold in North America first, before continuing out through selected countries in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Exact locations haven’t been announced yet, and the price will be set by those offering the phone locally. Additionally, LG says the name of the phone may vary, so if you’re outside the U.S., it may not be called the X Power 2.

Features and specification

As alluded to in its name, the X Power 2’s raison d’être is its enormous 4,500mAh battery, a nice bump from the original X Power’s 4,100mAh power pack. LG claims the X Power 2 can give you 26 hours of talktime, 18 hours of continuous video playback, 14 hours of GPS navigation, and 19 hours of web browsing. The company even boasts the phone was designed to last an entire weekend without the need to recharge. When it comes time for that, the X Power 2 will go from 0 to 50 percent in an hour, while a full recharge will take around two hours.

On the outside, the X Power 2 features a 5-megapixel camera above its 5.5-inch, 1,280 x 720 resolution display, while a 13-megapixel camera with a soft-LED flash sits around back. On the front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with gesture and face recognition to snap photos when they’re spotted. The IPS LCD screen improves on the X Power and offers brighter colors and better viewing angles. Improvements have also been made to the display’s outdoor visibility, and there is a blue light filter added into the software for use at nighttime.

The X Power 2 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, something the original X Power still cannot say. An unnamed 1.5GHz octa-core processor and either 1.5GB or 2GB RAM run the show, with the 16GB of native storage augmented through the MicroSD card slot that takes up to 2TB cards.

The Garmin Descent G2 is a powerful dive computer and smartwatch in one
A diver wearing the Garmin Descent G2 smartwatch, exploring an anchor.

The new Garmin Descent G2 is an Apple Watch Ultra 2 competitor if we've ever seen one, featuring a large display, impressive durability, and a comfortable, waterproof strap. While it's a fantastic option for divers, it's also a solid pick for anyone that wants a more rugged smartwatch.

The Descent G2 has a 1.2-inch AMOLED display that's easier to see in the murky depths, which is particularly helpful when using some of its more advanced features. Garmin says the smartwatch gets up to ten days of battery life (although that drops to four if the display is always on), and it also has numerous training programs and more than 100 different sports apps.

We just got more details on the Oppo Find X8 Mini. Here’s what we know
The back of the Oppo Find X8 Pro.

The Oppo Find X8 Mini is expected to launch in March alongside the Find X8 and the Find X8 Pro, but we haven't had much information on its specs, design, or features until now. Tipster Digital Chat Station shared information on Weibo detailing a few details that we didn't already know.

According to the leak, the Find X8 Mini will feature a 6.3-inch OLED screen at 1216x2640 resolution. It could also have narrow bezels, although the exact size of those is still up in the air. That could put the Find X8 Mini at a similar size to the Pixel 9 Pro, and quite a bit smaller than the Find X8 Pro's 6.78-inch display.

The Vivo X200 Ultra could launch with a much more powerful camera sensor

When Vivo launched the x200 lineup last year, it teased an Ultra model but said we wouldn't see it until 2025. While we're still not clear on a release date, we've learned a few details about the upcoming flagship's camera setup that have us excited. A tipster leaked the information on Weibo and revealed several key details about what to expect from this handset.

The Vivo X200 Ultra is said to have a three-camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. If that sounds a little familiar, it's because the Vivo X200 Pro has the same main and telephoto units. What sets the X200 Ultra apart is the sensor for its ultrawide. A 1/2.76-inch sensor will allow much more light to enter, making it ideal for taking higher-resolution shots even in dim conditions.
