The RedMagic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ are just weeks away from release, but we’re still learning nuggets of information about both models. As a dedicated gaming phone, we expected it to be a powerful device, but according to a leaked benchmark scorecard, this thing is like Thanos with all five Infinity Stones. Supposedly.

AnTuTu 10 is a free benchmarking application for Android devices that lets you test the performance of the phone and the speed of its storage. The RedMagic 10 Pro+ scored an unbelievable 3,102,960 points, which puts it roughly in the 99% percentile for phones, according to GSMArena. While this score is promising, we’re not convinced; Multiple AnTuTu benchmarks have been faked before, so we’ll reserve judgment until we can use the phone.

In fact, the score is actually a little bit below the previous numbers that the RedMagic 10 Pro+ earned. The benchmarks did reveal a few things we didn’t know, though. The RedMagic 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ both run the Snapdragon 8 Elite “Extreme Edition.” It has eight Oryon cores and sports an Adreno 830- GPU.

The RedMagic model used for the benchmark is the most powerful option available, sporting either 16GB or 24GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. This kind of storage is quite fast but still slower than an NVMe drive.

The best OnePlus phone deal on Prime Day isn’t the 10 Pro
The OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 9 Pro's camera modules.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is on offer as part of Amazon’s Prime Day 2022, but we’re not going to suggest you buy it, because if you dig around a little more, there’s a better offer on a different OnePlus phone. The OnePlus 9 Pro may be a phone from 2021, but at $699, it’s yours for a very good price, and you get the top version the company made.

OnePlus has reduced the OnePlus 10 Pro to $799 for Prime Day, but for this you get the 8GB/128GB model and not the top -- and recently released -- 12GB/256GB version. For that, you’ll have to pay $969. The $699 OnePlus 9 Pro has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, but we're not recommending it because of the RAM. It’s the additional storage that’s important here. Neither OnePlus phone has a MicroSD card slot, so you’ve only got the internal storage to rely on. It's a good plan to get as much as possible.
