Everything leaving Hulu in March 2025

Brooklyn Letexier-Hart and Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers in Night Raiders.
Samuel Goldwyn Films

Any month that Hulu subscribers don’t have to lose a lot of their favorite movies to content churn has to be considered a win. But it almost seems like a joke that the vast majority of movies and TV shows leaving Hulu in March are things that won’t be missed very much. American Siege, for example, is a low-budget action flick that pulled in only 8% on Rotten Tomatoes. That’s emblematic of a lot of this month’s departures.

There are a handful of movies worth catching, including Benedetta, Night Raiders, India Sweets and Spices, You Laugh But It’s True, and Flux Gourmet. But it’s a short list to be sure.

To help you make your viewing plans for the month, we’re sharing our guide to everything leaving Hulu in March. Our picks for the month are in bold.

Be sure to check out our guides for the best shows and movies on Hulu. If you don’t subscribe to Hulu, then read up on the best new shows to stream, the best new movies to stream, the best shows on Netflix, and the best shows on Amazon Prime Video.

This is also a great time to consider the Disney Bundle, which gets you Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for just $17 per month. That’s basically like getting all three services, but only paying for two of them, and it’s pretty tough to beat. It’s also a great way to make sure you don’t miss anything on any of these services.

Night Raiders offers a bleak look at the near future, as North America falls under a military dictatorship. Niska (Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers) has already lost one child to the regime, and she doesn’t want to lose her daughter, Waseese (Brooklyn Letexier-Hart), as well. But when Waseese is gravely injured, Niska has no choice but to abandon her daughter so she can be treated by the regime.

A year later, Niska may have a second chance to reunite with her daughter. But in order to do so, Niska will have to undertake a dangerous mission to help resistance fighters reclaim their children from the regime as well.

What’s new on Disney+ in March 2025
Charlie Cox in Daredevil: Born Again.

Disney+ has had some pretty lean months as its parent company chases streaming profitability, and March is no exception. Marvel's highly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again series, launching on March 4 with a two-episode premiere, makes this month different. Episodes 3 and 4 will follow weekly, but for some reason, Disney+ is dropping episodes 5 and 6 on the same day as well.
As big as Daredevil: Born Again is going to be this month, it pales in comparison to the impact that Moana 2 is going to make on March 12. The original Moana is a huge performer for Disney+, so much so that Disney canceled plans for a Moana series on Disney+ and turned it into Moana 2. Now, it's coming back to where it would have been in the first place.
There are still new episodes of Pixar's Win or Lose coming this month, as well as the premiere of David Blaine Do Not Attempt. Unfortunately, once Born Again, Win or Lose, and David Blaine Do Not Attempt are counted, there just isn't much new programming left to watch in March.
Our roundup of everything new on Disney+ in March 2025 can be found below, with our favorites highlighted in bold.

Do you need more suggestions on what to watch? We have guides to the best new shows to stream, the best shows on Disney+, the best movies on Disney+, and the best shows on Netflix.

What’s new on Hulu in March 2025 and what’s leaving soon
Mark Eydelshteyn and Mikey Madison dance against a blur of Las Vegas lights in a shot from the movie Anora.

In the streaming realm, sometimes it's better to be lucky than anything else. Hulu may have had trouble streaming the Oscars, but it's going to be the home for this year's Best Picture winner, Anora, starting on March 17. That's the kind of promotion that's impossible to buy, and it may ultimately get more people to see the movie on Hulu than those who saw Anora in theaters.

Although Hulu removed the Alien and Predator franchises just a few months ago, they're already back on the platform as of the first of the month. Hulu has also added many great films, including Fight Club, The Prestige, Notes on a Scandal, The Wrestler, The Truman Show, and Life of Pi. Any streamer would kill to have that kind of powerhouse lineup.

Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt in a promo image for The Electric State.

Now that February is in the rearview mirror, Netflix is gearing up for an even bigger month in March. And before the Russo brothers head back to Marvel for the next two Avengers movies, they're debuting their latest Netflix original film, The Electric State, on March 14. Stranger Things' Millie Bobbie Brown is headlining this sci-fi action flick opposite Chris Pratt.

Netflix is also starting off March with some fan-favorite films like Blade Runner: The Final Cut, Do the Right Thing, Runaway Jury, Friday, Sicario, Ted, Pride & Prejudice, and more. On March 6, the surprisingly good Power Rangers reboot film will arrive on Netflix, while the streamer is adding Den of Thieves 2: Pantera on March 20. Fans of AMC's Walking Dead franchise will also be able to enjoy The Walking Dead: Dead City season 1 on Netflix starting on March 17.
