It’s rare to get a high-profile non-conference game this late in the college basketball season, so when it happens, enjoy it. Cooper Flagg and the No. 3 Duke Blue Devils (23-3) take on Kasparas Jakucionis and the Illinois Fighting Illini (17-10). The two squads last played each other in 2020, with Illinois pulling out an 83-68 victory.

Since losing to Clemson on February 8, Duke has won three consecutive games, including Monday’s 80-62 victory over Virginia. Duke is in prime position to secure a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Speaking of the tournament, Illinois is fading rather quickly. The Illini are projected as a No. 7 seed in the tournament thanks to their seven Quad 1 wins. However, Illinois can’t afford to lose much more, or they will be on the tournament bubble.

If Illinois can pull off the upset, it will be a massive win on their resume. If Duke wins, the No. 1 seed is that much closer. North Carolina vs. Duke: How to watch, results, and highlights
Basketball players on the court at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Tobacco Road rivalry writes its next chapter when the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels (25-4) take on the No. 16 Duke Blue Devils (21-7). These two teams faced each other back in January, with Duke coming out on top in overtime. North Carolina holds a slight edge (56-53) over Duke in the all-time series.
2025 has been a good year for the Tar Heels. North Carolina is 12-2 in the new year and has won seven consecutive games. One of those wins came over NC State, who just knocked off Notre Dame. Meanwhile, the Duke Blue Devils have gotten sidetracked the past week, with two losses in three games. However, Duke heads into the North Carolina matchup having recently defeated Syracuse.
This rivalry is one of the best in the sport. Besides winning a national championship, winning the Tobacco Road matchup is probably the next best thing. Florida State vs. Notre Dame: How to watch, results, and highlights
Hannah Hidalgo stands on the court for Notre Dame.

It's a battle of the nation's top scorers as Ta’Niya Latson and the No. 24 Florida State Seminoles (22-6) battle Hannah Hidalgo and the No. 3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (24-3). Latson and Hidalgo average 26.2 and 24.7 points per game, respectively. This will be the only regular-season matchup between the Seminoles and the Irish.
The Seminoles are playing their best basketball of the season, having won three straight. With Latson lighting up the scoreboard, Florida State is a team that could be dangerous come March. On the other sideline, the Irish lost to NC State in double overtime this past weekend. It was Notre Dame's first loss since November 30. The loss might be a blessing in disguise.
Thursday's game could be a preview of an ACC Tournament semifinal matchup. Find out how to watch the game featuring the Seminoles and Fighting Irish, including the start time, channel, and streaming options. For more coverage, check out our NCAA women's basketball March to the Madness.

Conference play is almost done, but a few regular-season games remain. Aneesah Morrow and the No. 7 LSU Tigers (27-2) hit the road to play Sarah Ashlee Barke and the No. 20 Alabama Crimson Tide (22-6). This will be the only meeting between the two rivals in the regular season.
After losing to Texas on February 16, the LSU Tigers have won two consecutive games, including Sunday's game against Kentucky. LSU's Morrow, Flau'Jae Johnson, and Mikaylah Williams might be the best trio in the country. Alabama also has a three-headed monster in Barke, Zaay Green, and Aaliyah Nye. The Crimson Tide enters Thursday's game having won five of their last six games.
