The next Game of Thrones spinoff might have a new title by the time it hits HBO.

In a new blog post, author George R. R. Martin wrote about his experience visiting the set of A Knight of the Seven Kingdomshis next fantasy series at HBO. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is an adaptation of The Hedge Knight, the first novella in Martin’s series Tales of Dunk and Egg. HBO has been advertising the series as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. However, Martin suggested that the name could change.

“It’s A an adaptation of The Hedge Knight, the first of my Dunk & Egg stories. There were two more after that, The Sworn Sword and The Mystery Knight,” Martin wrote on Not a Blog. “They have all been collected in a book called A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. That’s probably going to be the title of the show as well … unless we go with The Hedge Knight. That’s still under discussion.”

Set about 100 years before the events in Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), a courageous knight, and Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell), a small squire.

Regardless of the title, the series should arrive in 2025, per HBO. When exactly in 2025 is still undecided.

“Filming wrapped not long ago, and [showrunner] Ira Parker and his team are now in post, looking toward a debut sometime next year,” Martin added. “Spring, I am hoping, but that’s just a guess, no date has been set yet.”

The series will consist of six episodes. Despite the drama over the title, Martin has seen a rough cut of the first episode and “loved it.”

Three Little Birds (2023)
Three Little Birds I BritBox Original I Trailer
A specific look at the immigrant experience in America, Three Little Birds tells the story of three Jamaican women who immigrated to the U.K. in the 1950s and 1960s. The series is based on real stories about the immigrant experience and examines the discrimination these women felt and the community they created in their new home.
Few shows are so careful about depicting the realities of this particular corner of British life, and Three Little Birds is an important reminder of the way immigration has shaped the culture of Britain that we know today.

The Responder (2022-)
The Responder | Trailer – BBC
There are tons of police shows on BritBox, but The Responder sits on more unique ground. The series tells the story of urgent responder Chris Carson (Martin Freeman) as he works a series of night shifts in Liverpool.
As he attempts to save lives amid a variety of high-stress situations, Chris is also dealing with his own deteriorating mental health and the corruption that threatens to consume all the good he's done. Featuring an incredible performance from Freeman and the kind of relentless pace that only the best medical shows are able to maintain, The Responder is well worth your time.

What Andor season 2 needs to do to build on the success of the first season
Diego Luna in Andor season 2.

On April 22, Andor, the greatest critical hit in the Star Wars family of Disney+ TV shows, will return for its long-delayed second and final season. The show, created by Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton) has been rightly called “Star Wars for grown-ups” by its co-star Stellan Skarsgård, and its exploration of the dynamics of fascism, rebellion, and political radicalism made the first season compulsively watchable — never a lecture, but never simple-minded popcorn entertainment either.

To stick the landing on an all-too-brief run, Gilroy’s unexpected awards darling must focus on what makes it great – and not get drawn down the many garden paths that bedevil franchise entries like this one.
