How to delete a Disney+ profile

Disney+ enrolled more than 10 million subscribers in the first 24 hours of launch. Although the release wasn’t exactly seamless, users still have a lot to look forward to, with content from Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, and National Geographic, not to mention Disney’s extensive vault of classic films and Disney Channel original movies and shows. Oh, and don’t forget high-profile shows like The Simpsons.

With such an enormous content library, Disney+ has something for everyone. And to make sure everyone in your home can take advantage of it, Disney+ allows you to set up to 10 distinct profiles so everybody using an account can access personal watchlists, save shows to watch later, and receive better recommendations via Disney’s algorithm. After all, your 3-year-old might not quite grasp the nuances of The Simpsons episodes the system recommends based on your watch history.

That being said, 10 profiles might seem like a lot. If you got excited in the first week and created a profile for every member of your family — dog included — you may want to dial it back and make room for others to access your account. Fortunately, Disney+ makes it incredibly easy to remove a profile, though the method for doing so will differ depending on how you created the profile.

How to delete a profile on Disney+

Step 1: From your primary profile’s homepage, tap or click your Character in the upper-right corner.

Step 2: Select Edit Profiles on the resulting drop-down menu.

Step 3: Click on the profile you want to delete, scroll down and select the blue Delete Profile button, then confirm your decision.

Step 2: Select Edit Profiles on the Add Profile button located on the right side of the resulting page.

Step 3: Choose an icon, enter a profile name, and click the blue Save button at the bottom.

That’s it! You can now easily add or remove profiles at your leisure.

How to watch the 2025 SAG Awards: Date, time, live stream, nominees
Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci exchange words in a still from the movie Conclave

It's all about the actors at the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday night. The SAG Awards are voted on by SAG-AFTRA — Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. That means you will not see any awards dedicated to writers, directors, or producers. Only actors and stunt ensembles will be awarded tonight.

The SAG Awards are the last precursor to the 2025 Oscars. Many of the Oscar races could be over by the end of tonight. If Anora wins Outstanding Cast, it will take a miracle to dethrone it at the Oscars. Speaking of Anora, Mikey Madison could take the lead over Demi Moore for Best Actress. Television categories will also be awarded, though Shōgun is expected to dominate. Jane Fonda will also become the 60th recipient of the SAG Life Achievement Award.

The 50 best shows on Netflix in February 2025
Robert De Niro in Zero Day.

While other streamers tend to slack off for the final weekend of the month, Netflix has dropped two new series this week that are the new No. 1 and No. 2 on the most popular shows on Netflix. The first is American Murder: Petito, a true crime story for the age of social media because the titular murder victim was already known before she was killed.
Netflix's second new addition is Zero Day, one of its most hyped original shows of 2025. Getting Robert De Niro to star in it alongside a strong cast of supporting players definitely played a part in this show's meteoric rise to No. 2 on Netflix's chart in under a day. It should be interesting to see if it has staying power.
You can find these series and more below among the best shows on Netflix. We update this list every Friday to give you the best streaming options for your weekend viewing.

We’ve also rounded up all the best new shows to stream this week, the best movies on Netflix, the best shows on Hulu, the best shows on Amazon Prime, and the best shows on Disney+ because we take our streaming seriously.
