That Latest Elizabeth Warren Lying Scandal Just Got Much Worse

Who could have imagined that Elizabeth Warren could have the capacity to lie about her background? Shocking, if true.

Warren has been sharing an anecdote lately involving the claim that she was once fired from a teaching job over being pregnant. This obviously plays into every woke stereotype involving discrimination and the current Democrat presidential candidate has decided to make her story a staple of her stump speech. You can find examples of it being spouted going back to the beginning of the year.

The problem was that Warren had told a completely different story back in 2007, as was covered here at RedState late last week.

But in a March 8, 2007 interview with Harvard Law Professor Leo Gottlieb, Warren made it clear that such discrimination had nothing to do with the loss of that teaching job.

Warren told Gottlieb how she had earned a full scholarship to George Washington University at 16, and graduated with a degree in speech pathology and audiology, and didn’t mention the commuter college that has become another pillar in her bio. She then explained that she left her public school job after one school year because she lacked the educational credentials to qualify for a permanent position, and that she decided on her own to abandon the calling.

Note the language she uses about qualifying for a permanent position, because new documents show that not only was she lying about being let go, she had actually been offered another year long contract extension to keep her job.


Minutes of an April 21, 1971, Riverdale Board of Education meeting obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show that the board voted unanimously on a motion to extend Warren a “2nd year” contract for a two-days-per-week teaching job. That job is similar to the one she held the previous year, her first year of teaching. Minutes from a board meeting held two months later, on June 16, 1971, indicate that Warren’s resignation was “accepted with regret.”

And lest someone tries to pretend this is just Warren living in a gray zone and that she actually meant something else, nope. She pointedly claimed the principal “didn’t ask” her back.

Warren’s book, A Fighting Chance, published a year after she was sworn in as a senator in 2013, tells something of a different story, though the two aren’t necessarily incompatible. “By the end of the school year, I was pretty obviously pregnant,” Warren wrote in the book. “The principal did what I think a lot of principals did back then—wished me good luck, didn’t ask me back the next school year, and hired someone else for the job.”

That, ladies and gentlemen, is calling bald-faced lying for political gain.

Sure, that’s not necessarily unique among politicians, but what is unique is that the media don’t care to report on this at all. If this were Trump or any other Republican caught in such an obvious lie, it’d be headline news for a week but it won’t be. Heck, they aren’t even covering it.

I don't know this is a particularly serious scandal for Warren—maybe it's something that just requirers a clear explanation from her campaign—but it's interesting that it's circulating on both conservative Twitter and Bernie Twitter but getting almost no mainstream pickup.

Yes, how very interesting. It’s a total mystery why the mainstream media aren’t picking up this story. It’s not like they have been in the bag for Warren since the beginning of the summer or anything.

To tie a bow on all this, Warren is documented in the minutes of the 1971 meeting as actually quitting.

Toward the end of Warren’s first year on the job, in April 1971, the board approved her contract for the following school year, the meeting minutes show. Two months later, the meeting minutes indicate that Warren had tendered her resignation.

“The resignation of Mrs. Elizabeth Warren, speech correctionist effective June 30, 1971 was accepted with regret,” the June 16, 1971, minutes say.

In summary, not only did the school board not let her go as she claims, they offered her another year of employment. Her response was to tender her resignation two months later. Perhaps she did that out of frustration, but by her own admission, she didn’t qualify for a more permanent position.

No matter how you read these documents, it’s clear she lied and continues to do so.

Bernie Sanders has severely cut back his campaign after his heart attack. So that leaves only Joe Biden as an effective candidate and he would be the oldest president ever elected and his debating style has been questionable.

In any event, I have no control over who wins or loses. I'm doing something constructive with my time instead. Smoking weed, looking at porn and jerking off..

Unless the Democrats do something terribly foolish - and that is always a possibility - I do not see Trump winning the popular vote. He may still win in the Electoral College. What is far more likely is that Trump will do something terribly foolish, causing a landslide victory for his Democrat opponent.

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton continued her three-year long excuses tour this week; bizarrely stating she can “beat Trump again” should she run for the White House in 2020.

“Maybe there does need to be a rematch,” Clinton told PBS News. “Obviously, I can beat him again.”

Clinton told President Trump to “not tempt her” into joining the 2020 race for the White House Tuesday; sparking speculation of a potential third-run for the Oval Office.

“I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren. Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors,” posted Trump on social media.

“Don’t tempt me,” fired-back Clinton.

Gabbard considering boycotting October debate, claims DNC and media are 'trying to hijack' election

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced Thursday that she is considering boycotting next week's Democratic primary debate, claiming that the Democratic National Committee and the press are trying to rig the election.

"The DNC and the corporate media are trying to hijack the entire election process, so in order to bring attention to this serious threat to our democracy, and to ensure that your voice is heard, I'm seriously considering boycotting the next debate on Oct. 15," she said in a video statement posted to Twitter.

Gabbard said she will announce whether she will officially boycott the debate in the coming days.

In her statement, the Hawaii congresswoman said that voters in early states such as Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada expressed to her how frustrated they are that "the DNC and the corporate media are essentially trying to usurp your role as voters in choosing who our Democratic nominee will be."

Gabbard pointed to her belief that the DNC tried to rig the 2016 election against Sen. Bernie Sanders in favor of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Emails released in July 2016 by Wikileaks showed that some DNC officials, including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida — who at the time was chairwoman of the committee — criticized Sanders' campaign.

You may recall a previous dust up between Joe Biden and Donald Trump in which the President shared a meme showing Biden insisting he had never discussed his son’s foreign dealings. In what was one of the better trolls of the year, Nickelback then came on singing “look at this photograph” while showing a picture of Biden, Hunter, and the executive from Ukrainian company in question.

If that wasn’t dispositive enough that the elder Biden had lied, we now have an even better source: Hunter Biden.

Now, there is no doubt. Hunter has once again confirmed he spoke with his father about the board position with Burisma. This would have come at the same time Biden was front manning foreign policy in the region. In fact, Hunter flew with his father on Air Force 2 to the area before he managed to land to gig. Just a coincidence I’m sure.

It was after that when Joe Biden pressured the Ukrainians to fire a prosecutor looking into Burisma by threatening to withhold aid (that was apparently not an impeachable offense at the time).

To put an even bigger capstone on this, Hunter Biden also admits in the interview that he was using his father’s influence to enrich himself.

It must be nice to be a Democrat. In an interview where Hunter confirmed his father lied, the valiant journalists among us are deciding to focus on Hunter’s denials instead, painting them as legitimate. Color me shocked.

This scandal isn’t going away. Biden should have just owned it from the beginning instead of painting himself into a corner. At this point, Elizabeth Warren has to be the presumptive frontrunner. Trump, for all his flaws, has managed to hang this around Joe Biden’s neck to devastating effect.

 

Why would a president lying suddenly matter to anyone here, hell we've had two plus years of constant lies, and no ones complained about it, I would think Republicans must consider "Lying" to be a prerequisite for the job! I guess they must think they are giving Joe a boost up!
