It might be cold in February, but the English Premier League is starting to heat up. With most teams having 14 games left, the action will only intensify as the games become even more important. The Premier League will be off for the second weekend in February. Several teams are participating in the FA Cup, with fourth-round matches scheduled from February 7-11. The Premier League returns to action on February 12. Premier League 2024-2025: Storylines to follow

We can confirm that @LisandrMartinez suffered an injury to his cruciate ligament in Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Licha ❤️#MUFC

Can Ruben Amorim get his players to resemble anything close to a team worthy of wearing the Manchester United badge? Lisandro Martinez suffered a devastating cruciate ligament injury and will not play again this season. With Martinez out for over six months, questions remain on the backline. Paired with underwhelming moves during the January transfer window and lackluster attack options, it’s time for the gaffer to be brought in mid-season to lead the team and stop complaining about his players and their attitudes.

Will Arsenal finish in second again? As of February 7, Arsenal trails Liverpool by six points in the standings. Is Mikel Arteta’s team destined to finish in second for a third consecutive season, or can they break through and finally win their first Premier League title since the 2003-2004 season?

Liverpool remains at the top of the standings and will look to make Arne Slot’s first season at the helm a wild success. The Scousers are definitely in a cheery mood. The drama surrounding Mohamed Salah’s contract and cryptic messages from the Egyptian striker have the makings of a story that could derail their season. However, it seems as though everyone is playing nicely together. Will a championship be a nice parting gift from Salah to The Kop, or is there trouble brewing?

After an unbeaten run of 12 matches across all competitions, AFC Bournemouth dropped their last match to Liverpool. USMNT right-back Tyler Adams has returned from injury and has the team primed to challenge for a spot to play European football next season.

With Chelsea, Enzo Maresca has the team trending in the right direction with a chance to return to the Champions League after a few dismal seasons. Consistency will be key for the West London club, which has yet to be seen this season.

After the signings of Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio, and Axel Disasi, Unai Emery believes Aston Villa will enter the top four and qualify for the Champions League. Emery has been known to get the best out of his players. The sky is the limit if Rashford returns to his previous form.

What happened to Manchester City? We never thought we would see a Pep Guardiola-led Manchester City team turn in the performances we’ve seen this year. Yet City is fifth as of February 7 and has become a team with many unanswered questions. City believes the answer is spending, racking up a transfer fee bill in January of £180M ($223M), accounting for 48% of all money spent by Premier League clubs. Rarely is more money the answer to anyone’s problems. We’ll see what Pep & crew can do with the remaining 14 matches in the season.

Sydney Sweeney will star in the Split Fiction movie
Sydney Sweeney in Anyone But You.

Earlier this week, Sydney Sweeney signed on to produce the adaptation of Sega's OutRun video game with Michael Bay set to direct. Now, Sweeney has reportedly joined another video game adaptation as both a producer and a star.

According to Variety, Sweeney has joined the cast of Split Fiction, the hit video game that was released just under two months ago. The game's story focuses on an aspiring sci-fi writer Mio Hudson and a fantasy writer named Zoe Foster, both of whom are invited to take part in an experimental simulation demonstration. When Mio is accidentally thrust into Zoe's simulation, both women are trapped in the simulation that draws upon the stories from their minds. And they have to work together to find a way out. Variety's story doesn't specify which character Sweeney will play, but there's room for another prominent actress on top of the call sheet beside her.

5 movies leaving Hulu in April 2025 you have to watch
Rebecca Hall in Resurrection.

The title of this recurring post was conceived when Hulu regularly cycled out big movie titles at the end of the month. Lately, Hulu hasn't been saving the good stuff for the 30th, and there's only a single movie leaving at the end of April that we can recommend.

Resurrection, a 2022 psychological thriller starring Rebecca Hall is the film in question. That movie is leaving on April 27, and that leaves four more films to fill out a list of five. So as we've done for the last several months, we've had to skip ahead to the next month to find additional movies on their way out of Hulu that are worthy of being watched.

Mark Feuerstein in promo art for Royal Pains.

Earlier this year, NBC debuted Suits: L.A., a revival of the hit USA Network series Suits that became an even bigger blockbuster on Netflix. Now, NBC is looking to revive another USA series, Royal Pains, with the show's original star Mark Feuerstein slated to return.

Royal Pains debuted on USA in 2009 and featured Feuerstein as Henry “Hank” Lawson, a former ER doctor in New York who unjustly lost his job. After moving to the Hamptons with his brother, Hank was recruited to run his own concierge medical practice for the rich and powerful. However, he also established a free clinic for people who couldn't afford the health care that they needed. The show ran for eight seasons before concluding in 2016.
