‘The Green Hornet’ Trailer Released Online

“The Green Hornet” will star Seth Rogen as Brit Reid, a newspaper publisher who assumes the role of a unconventional action hero. The film is directed by Michel Gondry and is scheduled to be released on January 14 of next year in 2D/3D.

Synopsis: By day, Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is a millionaire publisher and popular media figure, but by night, Reid assumes the identity of fearless crime fighter The Green Hornet and teams with his trusted sidekick, Kato (played by Asian pop star-turned-actor/director Jay Chou), to keep the streets safe for average citizens. Producer Neal H. Moritz spearheads this big-screen adaptation of the popular radio serial, comic book, film, and television series originated by Lone Ranger creators Fran Striker and George W. Trendle. Rogen and frequent writing partner Evan Goldberg provide the screenplay, with visionary Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) handling directing duties. The Rage Virus has evolved in the first trailer for 28 Years Later, the long-awaited third film in the zombie apocalypse franchise created by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland.

The terrifying footage is set to an eerie reading of Rudyard Kipling's poem Boots. The trailer highlights the beginning of the zombie virus wreaking havoc in the U.K. It then jumps to 10,228 days later, as a group of survivors lives in isolation on a heavily guarded island. One of those survivors is played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who heads to the mainland armed with a bow and arrow.

The year may not be over yet, but Apple TV+ already has its eyes turned toward the future. The streaming platform has unveiled today the first trailer for one of its biggest 2025 titles, The Gorge. The new film is director Scott Derrickson's highly anticipated follow-up to his 2022 hit horror movie The Black Phone, and it's shaping up to be yet another intriguing genre effort from the filmmaker.

The Gorge stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller as a pair of elite, highly trained snipers from different countries who are assigned positions in two guard towers that stand on opposite sides of a secret, shadowy gorge containing unknown horrors. When Teller's Levi asks whether his job is to "keep people from going in the gorge," he's told, "No, you need to stop what's in the gorge from coming out." In case that wasn't ominous enough, Levi's military contact, JD (Sope Dirisu), further informs him, "The gorge is the door to Hell, and we're standing guard at the gate."

At this year's CCXP24, Apple TV+ unveiled the first full trailer for Severance's long-awaited second season, which offers viewers their best look yet at what's to come in the hit sci-fi series's new episodes.

Severance season 1 ends with Mark, Helly (Britt Lower), Dylan (Zach Cherry), and Irving (John Turturro) exposing to the outside world the torment that their "innie" work selves endure at Lumon Industries. In the new Severance season 2 trailer, Lumon floor supervisor Seth Milchick (Tramell Tillman) tells Mark that this act of rebellion has made him and his co-workers "the face of severance reform." Mark, however, has his mind set this season solely on rescuing Ms. Casey (Dichen Lachman), the wellness counselor he's discovered is his outie's "dead" wife.
